Our site in Condé-sur-Vire, in the French Department of La Manche, has been chosen to host the delegation of the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Integration, represented by Thibaut Guilluy (High Commissioner for Employment and Businesses) and Ronan Le Goaziou (principal private Secretary), as well as the ANIA, National Association of Food Industries, represented by Anastasia Boucheron (Director of social affairs), for the signing of the new agreement to foster visibility of the food sector, in support of the “#1jeune1solution” (“#1young#1solution”) plan.
During the visit of the Elle & Vire production site, Clara and Justine, two apprentices, were able to present their work environment and their missions.
The morning continued with a roundtable discussion with a dozen apprentices from Savencia, as well as representatives from the local IAE college of Caen and the Lycée Saint-Lô Thère highschool.
This meeting ended with the signing of the agreement between Thibaut Guilluy, High Commissioner for Employment and Businesses and Laurent Marembaud, as a Chairman of the ANIA Social Commission.
This partnership, agreed between the Ministry of Labor and the ANIA member companies as part of the "1 young 1 solution" plan, aims to provide young people with better visibility on the apprenticeship training opportunities offered by the food industry sector.
At Savencia, 500 apprentices were trained this year in their future job within a professional sector of excellence.
