Your safety is our priority!

With our “Safety is OUR business” program, we aim to achieve zero accidents. We inform employees and new hires of proper behavior and good practices to ensure their safety. Since 2013, the Group has been organizing a world Occupational Health and Safety week, providing each of our subsidiaries with an opportunity to hold workshops on relevant issues: these moments of sharing and conviviality are enjoyed as such but also enable key safety messages to be passed on.

Skills development

The Group’s men and women are at the center of our objectives since they keep us competitive by implementing our methods and know-how. We have designed specific training programs intended to develop each individual’s functional skills and review changes in our processes as well as the implementation of our policies. Our training courses bring together employees from different subsidiaries, thereby encouraging the sharing of best practices and fostering professional networking within the group. Our decentralized management of training also allows our employees to improve their skills and progress on the job, since there is a dedicated point of contact within each local subsidiary.

Specific managerial training programs

The SAVENCIA Academy offers a “core business” course whose objectives are to update business knowledge, sustain know-how and thus improve both individual and team performance.

Une politique active de mobilité interne

An active internal mobility policy

To motivate, develop and retain our employees, the Group implements a policy of collective and individual career management based on synergies between a range of human resources tools: annual appraisals, individual career monitoring, support for professional mobility and forward-looking job and skills management. Internal mobility fills 56% of vacant managerial positions and more than 80% of executive management positions. Every year, we also recruit more than 2,500 people – including almost 500 managers – as part of unlimited-term employment contracts.

Our operational decentralization, together with a very open policy promoting mobility between subsidiaries, activities and functions, provide our team members with access to formative positions of responsibility. Personalized career paths are thus facilitated and cultural diversity, viewed as a source of creativity and motivation, is encouraged.

Committed to certification

Corps de texte

Since 2009, we have been engaged in the certification of our HR policies, programs and practices, especially with regard to talent management and strategies, staff planning, integration, training and skills development.

For several years, the Top Employer Europe certification has recognized our commitment to good human resources and management practices. We also conduct internal opinion surveys within 100% of our subsidiaries, using the approach developed by the Great Place To Work institution. This approach has proven successful, since a number of our subsidiaries rank among the best in their category for their country, as classified by Great Place To Work.

Promoting solidarity

The Group encourages its entities and their employees to support local social and societal responsibility initiatives: partnerships with food banks, summer jobs for young people from underprivileged neighborhoods, skills-based sponsorship via humanitarian service leave, etc. In certain countries, payroll deductions to benefit selected associations have been very popular. For example, in France, the Arrondi sur salaire program (where volunteering employees forfeit the cents at the bottom of their pay slips) benefits the Planet Finance, ADIE, NOMA and Planète Urgence associations.
